The next chapter of my life

It has been a long time since I blogged but the business has kept me busy. As things have come a long I have decided that I am going to concentrate on designing. My photography business has taken a back burner to the store and I really want to make it the front burner. Trevor runs now when the camera comes out he is tired of mommy taken all the pictures of him. I am getting ready for the next chapter in my life and not sure how to make it happen. I will just pray on it and see what comes to me.

It has been a long time.

it has been almost a year since I have had a chance to blog. In the year I have lost 75 lbs, my gallbladder, another sump pump, and gained self confidence. I am excited to start in on my photography and scrapbooking to challenge myself to do great things. Let's just hope that the rest of my life cooperates!

Lemons to Lemonade

Life deals us with all sorts of challenges. Weather it be sick children, family obligations, or just not enough time in the day to get everything done. I have been working on trying to make the store the best in Cincinnati. It has brought me out of things that I love like scrapbooking my family memories and perserving them for years to come. I feel that all my time needs to be dedicated to the store and to my family. This leads to a new challenge when do I have time for me. I have decided that I am going to get tickets for my DH and his friend to the Rock on the Range concert so that he has some free time. I know that my anxiety and lack of time is my fault. I am always making plans for him and other people that keep me so busy. When I have the time I do not use it wisely I sit down on the couch and cuddle with Trevor.

So, my question is this how can I get all me scrapbooking done and have time for golf? I have a new understanding to the women that shop at the store that tell me they are so far behind. I would like to say "My name is Lori and I am 3 years behind can I be a member of the behind club." That is ok because it makes me stronger when I actually get downstairs to get something done. My quote that I am going to live by the next couple of months is

Life is so Complicated

I can not believe that it has been 19 months since Trevor entered our world. Everyday it is something new we are in the biting and slapping stage. I am taking care of both my boys as Roger recovers from surgery. Life is sometimes so complicated. I have learned this week though that our friends are awesome and my husband is amazing he really keeps our home a float.

In the past week I have become Copic Certified. I also taught both my Cricut Class and my Disney Class. It is a busy, busy time for me at the store. I am evaluating space and trying to change some things up. Business is starting to improve so I am demanding a little higher standards. Stay tuned for my upcoming changes.
